Ingredients for Beef Rice: 200g beef (preferably marbled), half an onion.
Seasoning Sauce Ingredients: 200g water, 35g soy sauce, 20g mirin, 20g sugar, 15g cooking wine, 5g Japanese soup granules (beef powder can be used as a substitute), an appropriate amount of ginger paste.

Steps for Cooking Beef Rice:

1. Slice the onion and set aside. Mix the seasoning sauce ingredients evenly in a bowl and set aside.

2. Boil the seasoning sauce in a pot, add the onion and cook for 5 minutes.

3. Add the beef and bring to a boil again, then simmer on medium-low heat for 6-8 minutes. The beef can be blanched before use.

4. Place the cooked beef over rice and serve.

Cooking Tips for Beef Rice: 1. It is best to choose beef with a good balance of fat and lean. 2. Japanese soup granules can be replaced with beef powder. 3. The cooked beef can be frozen for up to a week; simply thaw and reheat when ready to eat.
