Ingredients for Mixed Grain and Dried Fruit Steamed Cake: 50g wheat flour, 100g cornmeal, 150g millet flour, 190g warm water, 30g raisins, 10g sugar, 3g yeast.
Method:
Step 1: Measure out the wheat flour, cornmeal, millet flour, and sugar, and place them together.
Step 2: Dissolve the yeast in warm water and let it stand for 5 minutes.
Step 3: Pour the yeast water into the flour mixture while stirring continuously.
Step 4: Knead into a dough, cover, and let it rise in a warm place for one hour.
Step 5: The risen dough will have grown and have natural cracks on the surface.
Step 6: Rinse the raisins thoroughly and drain the water.
Step 7: Incorporate the raisins into the risen dough by gently kneading them in.
Step 8: Place the dough directly into a steamer, gently pat it into a cake shape about 2 cm thick, let it rise for another 30 minutes, then start the steaming process. Steam for half an hour after the water has boiled.
